Back and Next, the dots, the arrow keys, or the product's own menu. Nothing moves until you do; each screen plays its moment when you arrive.
Home & Sales Dashboard
The Home menu opens straight into Dashboards, Fishbowl's revenue and margin view. It's the first thing most sales and ops leads check each morning.
Across the top, tabs switch the whole dashboard between Sales, Purchasing, Inventory and Manufacturing data. Each tab keeps the same layout with different KPIs and charts.
The pill row surfaces the numbers that matter most at a glance: revenue, COGS, gross profit, order count, average order size, margin, and anything that closed short or didn't sell.

- Step 2 · Materials
Materials & Items
The Materials group is where items, inventory levels and transfer orders live. Items is where every part is created and edited: names, SKUs, barcodes, pricing and quantities on hand.
The six bike parts in this tour (brake cable, helmet, chain ring, frame, handlebars and tires) all live here as Inventory-type items, each with its own image, SKU and UPC.
ai-draftA Transfer Order moves stock between your own locations, like a warehouse restocking the storefront, and follows the same path as a sale: Transfer Order → Picking → Shipping → Receiving.

- Step 3 · Sales
Sales & Sales Orders
The Sales group follows an order from quote to shipment. The pill at the top of the screen, Sales Order → Picking → Shipping, tracks that same journey stage by stage.
Sales Orders is the list of every order in the pipeline. The Stock column shows whether inventory can cover the order right now, and Status shows where the order sits: Estimate, Issued, Picking, Partially Picked or Fulfilled.
ai-draftIssuing an order creates its pick ticket in Picking. Finishing the pick creates the ship ticket in Shipping, and shipping takes the stock out of the warehouse.

- Step 4 · Manufacturing
Manufacturing & Bills of Materials
A Bill of Materials (BOM) is the recipe for a build: the one finished good it produces and every raw material it consumes. Manufacturing orders and work orders are built from BOMs.
Estimated Cost and Available to Build are calculated from the raw materials' costs and on-hand quantities in Inventory. Each BOM holds a single finished good, but as many raw materials as the build needs.
ai-draftA Manufacturing Order schedules the build: a location, dates and one or more published BOMs with a quantity. Each BOM on the order becomes its own Work Order, and fulfilling it uses up the raw materials and adds the finished goods to Inventory.

Purchasing & Purchase Orders
Purchasing covers the other half of the operation: what you buy, from whom, and when it lands. A Purchase Order lists what you're buying from a vendor, with quantities, costs and a scheduled date, and the bar across the top follows it from Purchase Order to Receiving.
Receiving books the goods into Inventory when they arrive, so what a BOM needs, what a work order consumes and what's on hand all come from the same numbers. Vendors keeps each supplier's items, costs and lead times.
Auto-PO finds the raw materials that open work orders need but you don't have, after stock on hand and open purchase orders, and creates the purchase orders for them by vendor.

- Step 6 · Accounting
Accounting & Invoices
Invoices are created from closed sales orders. Once an order ships and is fulfilled, its invoice appears here with the same number, and the Memo column links it back to the sales order.
Open an invoice to see the customer, dates, payment terms and line items. Transactions shows the entries posted to the Chart of Accounts: a journal entry that moves cost from Inventory Asset to Cost of Goods Sold, and the invoice itself across Sales Retail, Sales Tax Payable and Accounts Receivable.

- Step 7 · Coralie
Coralie, your operations specialist
Coralie is Fishbowl's agentic AI. Click the sparkle in the top-right corner of any screen to open it beside whatever you're working on.
ai-draftAsk Coralie anything about your operation: the most urgent orders, whether inventory covers what's open, what's due in the next two weeks, what's overdue. Every answer is worked out from your live data, so it changes as you ship, build and receive.
Click any order in an answer to jump straight to it.
