“We were growing so fast,” recalls Jenny Ray, Escapod’s Production Operations Manager. “We needed something that could better track all of our materials and builds—it was just too manual to sustain.”

Challenge

Escapod’s operations involved purchasing hundreds of components involving built-to-order configurations across multiple trailer models, from chassis fabrication to cabinetry and finishing. Tracking these parts, assemblies, and production stages manually left too much room for error.

Even with QuickBooks Online handling accounting, their manufacturing workflows lacked visibility and structure. “We had bills of materials, purchase orders, and parts lists in different spreadsheets,” Jenny said. “We needed a true system of record that tied it all together.”

Solution

“Now we can see what parts are on order, what’s been used, and what should be on my warehouse shelf,” Jenny explained. “It’s allowed us to document and have insight into everything from purchasing to final assembly.”

Fishbowl’s intuitive workflows also reduced the need for manual data entry and made it easier to communicate across teams. “It’s nice not to have people asking, ‘Do we have this part?’ or ‘What fastener do I need to use for this subassembly?’ The answers are all in Fishbowl.”
