Using the User Module

November 2, 2018
Fishbowl Workforce helps small businesses comply with the Affordable Care Act by keeping track of their employees' hours, Fishbowl BlogThe User module shows you, in the role of an administrator, all of the users you currently have in your system. It also lets you create new users and assign them certain user rights by adding them to certain user groups and location groups within Fishbowl. When creating a new user, you need to add a bunch of information about them:
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Username
  • Initials
  • Email (optional)
  • Phone (optional)
Then you can just set a password for them and click the Active checkbox to activate their account. After you’ve done that, look below to add them to any of the user groups you’ve set up. We’ll talk more about user groups next week. Then click on the Location Groups tab to set a default location group for the user to work from and add any other location groups you’d like them to have access to. As promised, we’ll gain access to the User Group module next week to delve more into the realm of user rights.
