Fishbowl President to Share Customer Retention Secrets at Utah Business Event

SANDY, Utah, Feb. 3, 2012 – The Greater Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to present its first-ever Business Base Camp and Peak Awards Event at the Larry H. Miller Campus of Salt Lake Community College the morning of Thursday, Feb. 9. The event provides small businesses throughout the Sandy and Salt Lake region with practical answers to the questions they ask most. Lunch is included as well.

Entrepreneur of the Year and Utah Technology Council (UTC) Chairman Alan E. Hall will keynote the event together with Cheryl Snapp Conner, UTC Trustee and Managing Partner of Snapp Conner PR and Fishbowl President Mary Michelle Scott.

The February 9 itinerary will be as follows:

  • 8:00 a.m. Check in and networking
  • 8:45 – Mary Michelle Scott, Fishbowl President: “The secret to putting customers first and getting repeat business”
  • 9:45—Cheryl Snapp Conner, UTC Trustee and Communications lead and Managing Partner, Snapp Conner PR: “How to build great branding and marketing,” and “Communicating the Right Message”
  • 10:45—Alan E. Hall, UTC Chairman, Utah Entrepreneur of the Year, and Founder and Managing Director of MercatoPartners: “The 7 C’s of Hiring and Keeping Great Employees”

During lunch, the Chamber will present its annual Peak awards to acknowledge businesses in the Sandy area who are going above and beyond.
