For years, JD (as he is affectionately known among his fellow Fishbowl employees) has served as the company’s Vice President of Sales. He managed the day-to-day needs of the internal sales team while also working closely with every department within Fishbowl to promote and drive software sales.
He has been involved in sales and business management for over 17 years following several years as an attorney practicing family law and criminal defense in the great state of Texas.
He joined Fishbowl in 2006, and he’s helped Fishbowl dramatically increase its revenue year after year. Fishbowl is currently witnessing a sales boom in the first few months of 2016 under his leadership. In 2014, he won the SAMY Award, which celebrates Utah’s top Sales and Marketers of the Year.
Prior to Fishbowl, JD worked for several years as the national marketing manager and dealer promotions manager for one of the nation’s largest residential playground manufacturers. A portion of his duties included training all new playground dealerships on the setup and use of Fishbowl for inventory control and order management, as well as direct sales techniques for the industry.
He has a Juris Doctorate degree and a Bachelor’s of Communications degree from Texas Tech University.
It looks like he’ll be making Fishbowl a better place long into the future as its COO.
