Welcome to the sixth video in this series about getting Fishbowl up and running. We’ve talked a lot about the Fishbowl database, and now it’s time to talk about how to get help when you run into problems and need answers to questions.
This video focuses on finding what you’re looking for on the Fishbowl Wiki. There are two main ways to do this:
1. Click the Help Button
If you are in, say, the Part module and you click the Help button, you will go right to the Fishbowl Wiki page that’s all about the Part module. This is true of all of the modules in Fishbowl. If you have a question about them, all you have to do is click the Help button, and you’ll instantly be on the right page to hopefully find what you’re looking for.
2. Search the Fishbowl Wiki
While on the Fishbowl Wiki, you can also type a term that you’re looking for into the text box and hit Enter. This brings up search results that can lead you to the right page. You can also check out the most-viewed pages and other links on the main page of the Fishbowl Wiki because they might just have what you need.
Popular Wiki Pages
Some of the most popular pages people look up on the Fishbowl Wiki include:
Advanced Reports – Information on every report in Fishbowl and how each can be modified.
QuickBooks Journal Entries – All the journal entries Fishbowl makes to QuickBooks when sales orders, purchase orders, inventory adjustments, and other things are transferred.
Access Rights – A description of every user right in Fishbowl’s modules.
