Fishbowl was honored by the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce with its Community Partner of the Year Award because of its annual Day of Service, Courage Above Mountains Foundation, and other charitable initiatives.
Fishbowl edged out an elite group of companies across Asia, Europe, and North America in its first bid to land on the Red Herring Global 100 list in 2012. Three hundred companies competed for 100 spots on this prestigious list, and Fishbowl was among the winners. Fishbowl continues to expand its presence in the United States and beyond.
Since 1996, Red Herring has rated the top 100 technology-focused small businesses in North America, Asia, and Europe. Fishbowl is rapidly gaining top national rankings and is a finalist on Red Herring’s 2012 North American list.
From 2008 to 2011 Fishbowl created 51 jobs, doubling its staff size. That big jump propelled Fishbowl to the top 10 on Inc.'s list of the best job producers in the state of Utah. This is a result of several factors: Fishbowl's commitment to great customer service, high employee retention rate, and year-over-year revenue growth.
Fishbowl has ranked in the Technology Fast 500 for the fastest-growing technology companies in the United States and Canada from 2008-2011 and 2013-2014. The program is based on revenue growth and recognizes both private and public companies.
Out of 5,112 entries, Fishbowl emerged as one of the 25 companies to receive a Smart Award in 2012. Fishbowl received two acknowledgements: Best Emerging Growth and Best Working Capital Increase. Mary Michelle Scott was named a Business Owner of the Year honoree by the NAWBO, Salt Lake City chapter in 2012 for her impressive work at Fishbowl.
Signal Peak Ventures’ v100 awards honor the top 100 entrepreneurs in the state of Utah, or with close Utah ties, as chosen by their executive peers. Fishbowl CEO David Williams was first honored on this prestigious list in 2011, and was joined on the list in 2012 by Mary Michelle Scott, who is one of only six executive women to earn this achievement in 2012. The v100 is Utah’s only executive award that is based entirely on the votes of the region’s C-level peers.
