[edit] The Work Order Module

A Work Order (WO) represents a Part or Product that requires some hands-on attention, assembly, or configuration and is usually a sub-part of a Sales Order (SO). Within the Work Order Module Individual WO's may be created, or multiple orders may be created by selecting the Auto WO feature. This wizard replenishes inventory to their set reorder levels.

The Work Order Module consists of:

• Issued Sales Orders that have been configured with non-standard BOM types .
• Sales Orders for standard Parts/Products IF you have checked the box indicating Always Manufacture this Part under the BOM Tab in the Part Module for that specific part.
• Work Orders that you create in the Work Order Module using the New or Auto WO command
