[edit] The Work Order Module

[edit]
General Subtab

The General Subtab is where the summary of information regarding this order may be found. The General information may be edited if the order has an Issued Status. However, once the order has been started, the information beneath this subtab may not be edited. Your Work Order Number, Target Part, Description, and Type of order will be shown under the General Information section. Under this section you will also be able to view the Quantity ordered, quantity fulfilled, and the quantity remaining. If a stage has been associated with this part, it will be available beneath the Quantities.

Detailed information about the Work Order can be seen under the Work Order section of the general subtab. Here you may see the date the work order was started, as well as the date it is scheduled to be completed. The user who created the order is shown, as well as the status of the order (issued, building, partial, etc) and the projected cost. The Projected Cost is calculated by adding the average cost of each individual bill of material item and multiplying that by quantity of items being built.

If the Work Order was initiated by a Sales Order then the SO information will be shown at the bottom of the General Subtab. This information includes the Sales Order number, status, customer, and date issued as well as date expected. Line Item notes, if any, will be available directly beneath the sales order summary of information.

A dialog box will be displayed during the finish wizard informing you of the items not in stock and asking permission to still continue.
