There are times when the Quantity of a Part needs to be adjusted between various Locations. For example, you may have a case of Tuna in your Location Stockroom, but none out on your Location Store front. Or you may need to transfer an excess of screwdrivers in your LA warehouse to your Miami warehouse. Either way, Fishbowl Inventory Mobile allows you to make the transition and still keep tabs on each and every part.

A Yield allows you to take part of the total amount of items in a Tag and move it to another Tag. When the Yield Module has been selected, the first screen will ask for the tag number of the Item you wish to remove. You may either enter in tag number, or scan the barcode. (See The Inventory Module for a list of Parts and their Tag Numbers) Select Exec to advance to the next screen.

You will be asked to enter the Quantity to move and the new Tag where the item(s) will go. For your convenience, the Tag numbers and Locations (within your Location Group) will be shown at the bottom of the screen. Select the desired information and choose Exec for the Yield to be complete. 

A completion message will be shown on the information toolbar. If you would like to view the entire message, simply click the link and a dialog box will be displayed with the entire message. Choose Close to exit and return to the previous screen. 

If the Item is Serialized, you will need to enter the Serial Number or choose from the provided list of Serial Numbers and click Exec.

A Move will take all the items in one Tag and move them to another Tag. The screens work much the same as the Yield screens. Simply enter the Items Tag Number that is being left and the new Tag Number that will receive the items.
