Through Fishbowl Inventory's Configuration Wizard, Fishbowl downloads all the customer, vendor, part and quantity information directly from your QuickBooks file thereby eliminating hours of manual entry. From that point forward Fishbowl Inventory handles all the Sales Orders/Purchase Orders, manufacturing and inventory control. Then, as work is done within Fishbowl Inventory that requires a change in the General Ledger, Fishbowl Inventory will write that information directly to the QuickBooks file for you.

Importing Part Information from Outside Systems (i.e. Excel, Access, etc.)

If you currently track your inventory in Excel, Access or other third-party system then you can import that information directly into Fishbowl using Fishbowl’s import feature. Use this feature to import your part list/details, quantities, locations, vendors, customers, etc. directly into the Fishbowl Inventory database.
