Multiple Locations
Do you have a hard time finding parts when you need them? Would you like to have one place where you could find exactly where your parts are and how much of each is on hand, allocated or backordered? If so, then you need Fishbowl Inventory!
If your warehouse is divided into aisles, rows or shelves, Fishbowl can automatically generate a matrix of locations for you so that you don't have to define each location individually. With only a few clicks, you can view each location and its entire inventory. Or, if you prefer to use a different approach, you can see exactly which locations have a specific part so you never have to wonder if you actually have the inventory on hand. Inventory valuation, sales, parts and quantities can all be reported based on location. These location groups can also correspond to the various classes within QuickBooks.
If you have multiple warehouses, delivery trucks, or storefronts, then you need to make sure that each employee sells from the correct location. Fishbowl lets you do that by letting you limit employee access to specific warehouses or locations.
What about refilling trucks or warehouses? Fishbowl keeps track of your transfer orders and leaves a paper trail to document every step. Fishbowl Inventory also offers the ability to set up reorder points for individual locations. If you use QuickBooks and have multiple locations, then you need Fishbowl Inventory!
